1. Introduction

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Website and any subscription services, digital publications, competitions, or other content made available through CID.

1.2. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Website or any related services.

1.3. These Terms apply in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and any additional rules relating to competitions and promotions.


2. Subscription Services

2.1. CID provides access to digital interactive flipbooks (“Flipbooks”), activities, and related content through subscription.

2.2. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled by the subscriber.

2.3. The start of each Flipbook is the 1st day of each calendar month. Subscribers are strongly advised to complete their subscription at least one (1) day before the 1st of the month to ensure uninterrupted access.

2.4. Subscription fees are clearly displayed on the Website. By subscribing, you authorise us to collect recurring payments using your chosen method of payment.
2.5. We reserve the right to amend subscription pricing, provided reasonable notice is given to existing subscribers.



3. Cancellation and Refunds
3.1. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through your account settings. Access will continue until the end of the paid billing period.

3.2. Refunds are not ordinarily provided for part-used periods. Exceptions may be granted at our discretion in line with statutory UK consumer rights.


4. Competitions, Quizzes and Prize Draws

4.1. CID may from time to time operate quizzes, competitions, or prize draws.

4.2. All such activities shall comply with the Gambling Act 2005 and related UK legislation governing free draws and prize promotions.

4.3. Only parents or guardians aged 18 or over may submit entries on behalf of children. Children’s personal details will not be requested or stored as part of the entry process.

4.4. All competitions are run fairly, transparently, and without bias. Winners will be selected in accordance with published rules, and results may be publicly announced.

4.5. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash alternatives unless otherwise stated.



5. Privacy and Data Protection

5.1. We respect your privacy and handle all personal information in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

5.2. Data collected is used only for the purposes of providing access to the Website, administering subscriptions, competitions, and for necessary communications.

5.3. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. All accounts and entries must be managed by a parent or guardian.

5.4. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details on how data is collected, stored, and used.



6. Intellectual Property

6.1. All content available on the Website, including but not limited to text, designs, puzzles, illustrations, videos, and downloadable activities, is the property of CID or its licensors.

6.2. All mascots and characters, including Dot the Robot, Olive the Owl, Finley the Fox, Toby the Dog, and Peter & Sarah, together with John & Jill, remain the intellectual property of CID.

6.3. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

6.4. Reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display of CID content without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.



7. Acceptable Use

7.1. You must not use the Website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the Website or impairment of availability or accessibility.

7.2. You must not use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes, nor submit any content that is defamatory, obscene, or in breach of intellectual property rights.

7.3. Breach of these obligations may result in termination of your subscription and legal action.



8. Liability

8.1. CID will use reasonable care and skill in providing the Website and content but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

8.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CID excludes all liability for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the Website.

8.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under UK law.



9. Amendments

9.1. CID reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on this page and become effective immediately upon posting.

9.2. Continued use of the Website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.



10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

10.2. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
